Árni Vilhjálmsson

Supreme Court Attorney Árni Vilhjálmsson has been practicing law since 1983. Árni was one of the founders of LOGOS in 2000 but before that time he was i.a. a partner at Aðalsteinsson & Partners. Árni has extensive experience in many different fields of law, such as competition law, corporate law, European law, intellectual property law and litigation. He was an ad hoc College Member of EFTA Surveillance Authority between 1998-2004, a member of the Council European Patent Institute between 2005-2009 and is currently a member of the Disciplinary Board of Appeal of the European Patent Office. Árni has been a lecturer at Reykjavik University, Faculty of Law and the Continuing Education Centre at the University of Iceland. He has both been appointed a judge ad hoc at the Court of Appeals (2019) and the Supreme Court (2020).
