Two Lawyers Join LOGOS' Ownership Group

At the turn of the year, Kristófer Jónasson and Maren Albertsdóttir became part of the ownership group of LOGOS. Both have worked with LOGOS for many years. LOGOS is a law firm specializing in services for Icelandic and international business sectors. The firm employs approximately 65 people.

Kristófer Jónasson is a lawyer with rights of audience before the district court. His primary areas of expertise include corporate law and business consulting, financial restructuring and bankruptcy law, construction law, labor law, fisheries, mergers and acquisitions, and contract law. Kristófer has been with LOGOS since 2012.

Maren Albertsdóttir is a lawyer with rights of audience before the district court. She holds an LL.M. degree in international arbitration law from Stockholm University. Maren has extensive knowledge in administrative law and related legal fields involving public law regulations. She previously worked for the Ombudsman of Alþingi (the Icelandic Parliament) for several years, including as an assistant and office manager, overseeing the Ombudsman's operations. In 2024, she was appointed as a main member of the Equal Rights Complaints Committee. Additionally, Maren has taught administrative law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Iceland. She worked at LOGOS from 2008 to 2012 and rejoined the firm in 2022.
