Stephen McNeill specialises primarily in corporate and commercial law, providing advice to both international and Icelandic clients. He has extensive experience on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, auction sales, strategic and venture capital investments, restructuring, corporate and banking finance, asset sales involving additional overseas businesses, public takeovers from the buy and sell side and emerging markets transactions.

Stephen has acted for clients from a variety of industry sectors and markets across all deal sizes, including corporates, banks/financial advisers, private equity and other investment houses on both buy-side and sell-side transactions. He has built up a solid understanding of key issues arising in a variety of foreign jurisdictions, and has a good working knowledge of specialist areas such as corporate governance, banking, project and leveraged financing, employment, litigation and intellectual property/data protection. He also has day to day experience of drafting and negotiating agreements and contractual arrangements.
